Aurora

Aurora is an iconic landmark on Stadhouderskade, located at the corner of Overtoom. This distinctive 1960s building, designed by architect Piet Zanstra, is currently undergoing a complete transformation into a sustainable and future-proof office building and will become Amsterdam’s first Paris Proof listed monument.

The location is unparalleled: situated between Leidseplein, Vondelpark, and Museumplein, with every imaginable amenity within walking distance. Excellent tram, metro, and train connections provide quick access to Amsterdam Central Station, the Zuidas business district, and Schiphol Airport.

Under the direction of KAAN Architecten and Being, Aurora is being redeveloped with great respect for its rich history. The characteristic façade will be preserved, while modern additions — such as a glass atrium with a spiral staircase and green façades — will create an open, bright, and healthy working environment.

Aurora has been designed according to the highest sustainability standards:

The entrance and social spaces, designed by Beyond Space, provide a warm welcome through the use of natural materials, generous daylight, and greenery. The office floors of approximately 1,200 sq m can be flexibly configured and are suitable for both open-plan layouts and private workspaces.

With panoramic views over Amsterdam and a high-end level of finishing, Aurora combines elegance, comfort, and functionality.

Availability The building comprises approximately 9,508 sq m of office space (VVO), including a proportionate share of the common areas within the office building, distributed as follows:
