Eigen Steen acquires historic building at Paleisstraat 2, The Hague

A private owner has sold the landmark townhouse at Paleisstraat 2 in The Hague to real-estate investor Eigen Steen. Dating from 1883, the five-storey property comprises approximately 660 sq m and boasts a prominent corner position on Noordeinde and Paleisstraat, directly opposite Noordeinde Palace, making it one of The Hague’s most distinctive townhouses.

Over the coming months, Eigen Steen will draw up a repurposing plan that honours the building’s heritage. With this acquisition, Eigen Steen underlines its ambition to give historic buildings a new future within the urban context.
