Already a partner of other initiatives promoted by Undici magazine, Dils supported the first edition of the Aura – Sport & Cultura Award, a recognition that celebrates leading figures in Italian sport not only for their achievements, but also for the values they embody and convey.
The ceremony took place yesterday at the Teatro Franco Parenti in Milan, hosted by Gianluca Gazzoli, and featured an exceptional line-up of guests. Among them, Federica Pellegrini, president of the jury, together with Gianluigi Buffon, Bebe Vio, Gregorio Paltrinieri, Rossella Fiamingo, Gabriele Gravina, Tania Cagnotto, Edoardo Bove, Marco Belinelli, Flavia Pennetta, Sofia Raffaeli, Alessia Maurelli, Leonardo Fabbri and Simone Barlaam.
The award was created out of the belief that sport is much more than competition: it is transformation, emotion, storytelling, impact and vision. A universal language that inspires and builds communities. The jury, made up of athletes, former athletes, journalists and institutional representatives, selected twenty remarkable stories, with the winner being Myriam Sylla, player of the Italian national volleyball team, recognized for her courage, talent and determination.
The evening also had a charitable dimension, supporting art4sport ONLUS, an association founded in 2009 and inspired by Bebe Vio, which promotes sports for children and young people with limb prostheses. Art4sport is a community that fosters inclusion, strength and confidence through sport, turning fragility into vital energy.
Through its support of the Aura Award, Dils reaffirms its commitment to This is my Milano, the Give Back program that supports organizations engaged in social inclusion, culture, education and sport, the latter seen as a tool for personal growth, social cohesion and the promotion of positive values.
