From 18th to 21st September, BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano hosted the fifth edition of Open Air Design, the event dedicated to outdoor living, which welcomed Dils as a partner for the second year running.
This year’s theme, “Frames of Nature”, explored cinema as a language capable of shaping imagination and inspiring new perspectives. A key highlight was the film program curated by Muse Factory of Projects, which enriched the schedule designed by COIMA Image and MoscaPartners with international documentaries, talks with directors, and conversations with leading companies.
A special focus was placed on the new generations: the School of Design of Politecnico di Milano led the workshop Fermo Immagine; the Civic School of Cinema Luchino Visconti organized two AI-focused workshops; and the Civic School of Music Claudio Abbado closed the event with a live performance.
Together with Artemide, Kartell, Gessi, Poliform, and Antonio Marras + Nodo Italia, thirteen companies turned the park into an open-air stage, with installations, performances, and creative expressions blending nature, design, and imagination.
